Super Simple Cranberry Sauce

This is just a traditional cranberry sauce -- super simple and super easy. I have dressed it up with oranges and nuts before but I just went very old school this year. Dean and I love to put this on our day after Thanksgiving sandwiches. It adds such flavor to the sandwiches.
Whole Cranberry Sauce
1 C water
1 C sugar
1 (12 oz) package of fresh cranberries
Combine water and sugar in medium saucepan. Heat to boiling. Stir in cranberries; return to boiling. Reduce heat; cook 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. (The cranberries will "pop" when they are cooking so be careful not to get squirted with hot juice.)
Cool to room temperature; cover and refrigerate until serving time.
