Two degrees of separation

Our really close friends in Atlanta had gone to a house-warming party at their friend's several months ago, and met Brian Nichols, the rape suspect turn killer and hostage taker from last Friday. It turns out that he was their friend's neighbor. Which, in turn, makes us only two degrees of separation from a rapist, killer and hostage taker. It's a small world afterall. On the plus side, they did say he was really nice.
