Our house in New Orleans

I lived in New Orleans from first to fourth grade. We actually lived in the suburb Kenner and were very close to Lake Pontchatrain. Well, this morning I actually remembered our old address and looked it up on Google Maps. I did the hybrid view of the house so you can get a concept of where we were. The green on the left side of the screen is the lake, and the arrow is a little off from our actual house, or what was our old house, because as you can imagine from how close we were to the lake, it's gone. Crazy, huh?

(Just for fun, if you scroll down, you can follow the levee to the airport runway where Doug and I used to ride our bikes and watch planes take off...)
